You wouldn't have much time for sightseeing, but the price is right.

Available today, Aug 14, they list deliveries from Wellington to Auckland Airport for Sept 1 and Sept 8. This gives a little advanced notice.

I know nothing about Transfer Car, but it appears to be Kiwi owned. If so, they'd be honest and easy to deal with.

http://www.transfercar.co.nz/

LynLynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13877596652978399806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1943779562557857702.post-61251436875535430492009-08-11T14:14:16.516-07:002009-08-11T14:14:16.516-07:00Smart & Sassy...I always like your posts. We're on a tight budget, but think we can stay 5 weeks by cutting costs.
Lena in D.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1943779562557857702.post-55185100981761922102009-08-09T15:35:27.228-07:002009-08-09T15:35:27.228-07:00I have AAA towing insurance. If you have your own vehicle, AA (AAA's NZ sister) has free maps and any other benefit you'll find in the US-- stop in to an AA ofice to see what they have.

I try not to promote a particular motorhome company. Rates change. Spend some time on different sites & check some dealers to find what's best for you.

Maui has a Book 5 Pay 4 special if booked before Sept for Travel Oct 1-Dec 15. If you book 10 days, you get the 5th & 10th day free. Motorhomes can be picked up/dropped off at Auckland, C. Church, Wellington, or Queenstown. Check on their site. I've rented Maui movans & liked their service, but I'm not connected to Maui, either.
LynLynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13877596652978399806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1943779562557857702.post-36072663302102749812009-08-09T11:37:01.357-07:002009-08-09T11:37:01.357-07:00Any suggestions on finding the best price on RVs?
